Looks pretty good artistically, reminds me of Samurai Jack a little.  Graphically, a little disapointing.  To me it looks like a Dreamcast game, which isn't bad, but I know the 3DS is capable of much more.

Reimagining? Meh, it doesn't need it! Of all the Shinobi games I own (Revenge of, Shinobi 3, Shinobi Legions, and Shadow Dancer) all are awesomely designed! Okay, Legions has really cheesy cutscenes, but I love cheesy!

@ Xxain......... don't get me started, if Streets of Rage made a comeback, i would be consumed with joy.

It's my joint fave side scrolling beat em up of ALL TIME alongside Guardian Heroes.

And hey, when Guardian Heroes was announced for XBLA a couple of weeks back i nearly had a heart attack with excitement.

looks like a smoothed off ps1 game to me. i thought 3ds was more powerful than gamecube?

but this is a game id likely pick up as shinobi series have always been fun

It looks a lot better in motion in the trailer than the still frames up top. Looks fun. Aren't they releasing an older Shinobi on the 3DS virtual console too? Like a Gamegear one?
