I wasn't really a fan of the first ones, though. Still decent games.
Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!
Kojima: Come out with Project S already!

It seems like only yesterday that we learnt that Sega and Griptonite were working on a Shinobi game for the 3DS. Time moves fast on the interwebs however, and thanks to arecently leaked trailer it now seems that this is not a newShinobi game, but a compilation of seven classic Shinobi games from yesteryear. The trailer below shows the following Shinobi games and closes with the statement "lovingly reimagined for 3DS":
Several of these games are already available on the Wii Virtual Console, but it’s great to see the Saturn and PlayStation 2 Shinobi games get a look in to add a bit of variety to the bundle. There are a few notable exceptions from the Shinobi canon such as the lacklustre Cyber Shinobi on the Master System and the rather nifty GG Shinobi (the first Game Gear Shinobi game) which is already confirmed as a download on the 3DS Virtual Console service. The less said about the Gameboy Advance Revenge of Shinobi game the better! SEGA has responded to the video with "no comment" but has confirmed we'll find out more information later this week. Here's the leaked trailer so you can see for yourself:
Would you prefer a brand new Shinobi game for the 3DS or would you be happy with a compilation? As always, let your thoughts be known below. 7 games is a lot, but I would still have much prefered a new Shinobi game

Although, I have trouble imagining how they're going to fit both a Saturn game and a PS2 game onto that tiny 3DS card. The other Master System & Genesis games wouldn't be a problem. |
should be a non-issue, shinobi ps2 is ~1GB, shinobi legions is about 500 MB with the vast majority being music files, so all the games together are about 1.5GB, plenty of room on a 2 GB card
I HAVE A DOUBLE DRAGON CAB IN MY KITCHEN!!!!!!
NOW A PUNISHER CAB!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I already have Revenge on my Genesis (the unedited version) and I have it, Shinobi 3 and the arcade original on the VC.
But I'll still likely get this just to have them on 3DS, as long as Shadow Dancer is the arcade original and not the Genesis version...

Well that's good to know. I wonder if they'll put the second PS2 title on the 3DS as well...
