Sony probably has the best shot - NGP could steal the show with its sexiness

MS has a good shot - Kinect overload could deliver with the hardcore games with a possible trump card of hardware announcements (either massive price cut or early info on new system), plus they ended up winning E3 every year anyway due to Sony and N dropping the ball and having awful presentations

Nintendo probably not much chance - 3DS is dead and gone and unless cafe does something amazing with the video controlers or reveals vastly upgraded specs compared to the rumors then it is pretty much DOA as well.

Nintendo - A new home console is always a trump card at E3.

I wouldn't call 3DS dead and gone yet, it is just way too early. DS didn't have great initial sales either, actually PSP had a lot bigger launch than DS. It took a long time before DS started to have great sales.

From what we know now New console > New handheld > no new hardware

Microsoft could greatly upset the balance, but only if they have the 720 waiting in the wings, otherwise this one's pretty cut and dry in terms of who will come out ahead from a hype perspective (if we are to guage the power of E3 shows and E3 "victory" based on hype, a reasonably measurable outcome)

So a repeat victory for Nintendo, though i'm guessing E3 2012 could have the first look at the 720, and thus fall to Microsoft.

Microsoft was only up for E3 winning contention in 2008, when they nabbed Final Fantasy 13 for multiplatform.

Nintendo has a NEW console to reveal, so obviously that will be very interesting. Plus they have to convince us they will revive the sinking ship that is the Wii/3DS.

For Sony, I just hope someone doesn't hack their presentation. I have a feeling some cyber goons might be in attendance at E3 for the cou de grais and ruin that too. Also, I gotta know what exclusives the NGP nabbed.

I would think nintendos conference should be most exciting because of the new console reveal. But honestly from what im hearing its not really that exciting to me it sounds its going to offer the same stuff i can get with the 360 and ps3 but at a higher price and with HD touch screens in the controllers... so i guess for me it all comes down to what games nintendo shows

Depends on the veracity of those Café rumors.
