Forums - Nintendo - I figured out why Conduit 2 sucks.

Ignoring the point of parody, i would like to say that the game hasn't been hacked yet, and unless the hackers find an exploit so deeply ingrained in the code that a simple patch couldn't fix it, they're unlikely to

Plus the game has a system to boot bad players (which i'm assuming is targeted at cheaters)

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

HVS hired the hackers from the first to work on the sequels online system.

I don't get it.  Little help, here?

I think it's a parody of all the poor reviews out there giving irrational reasons against Conduit 2.

At least I hope that's what this is.

When a game sucks it just sucks. Damn those evil villians making those bad games for the innocents to buy.

Even if a game doesn't suck, if it gets a hype squad behind it, who decides to shill the game to promote their platform of choice, the game is going to not come off well, if it isn't all that... and a bag of chips.  The moment mediocre scores start rolling in on Metacritic, the hype squad gets embarrassed and backs off.  Even if a game IS real good (say Killzone 2), if it doesn't do blockbuster sales numbers, the hype squad will back off, and the game get a very bad rap.

If the original Conduit got hyped by some as "ushering in a new era in FPS" in ANY context, it was doomed to not meet the expectations, and would go down as a title that disappointed, if not flopped.

^^^ Conduit 1 was hyped to all hell, that was part of the problem. then it not only disappointed it flopped too

Hey, I just had this flashback memory regarding Conduit 2.  How can Conduit 2 be bad?  Hiphopgamer says it is AWESOME!

Yes.  Bill Sullivan of HVS told me that when I interviewed him at E3 last year and I've read many times from other interviews since then.

They brought them on to learn how they exploited the system from the first game and what could be done to prevent similiar exploits for the sequel.  They then held weekly online matches with them to test the system's security and feature sets.

That is badass. Well gentlemen, here is my summary of online multiplayer: it rocks. (I hear there is splitscreen too )

Go buy Conduit 2 now!

Well, i thoroughly enjoy the online multiplayer, as well as split screen.

However the campaign was kinda bad.
