The greatest RPG ever, possibly the greatest game of all time.

Excellent story surrounding pretty much... Everything.

Needs more attention from people like us, on videogame forums. It seems to get ignored and pushed behind Final Fantasy, despite it pooing all over any Final Fantasy.

It has the best 2D Graphics on the original PlayStation. (It's hard to find good screenshots of this game...)

You have Castle management. 

You can reqruit 108 total characters (Including yourself). Some of them I agree are worthless, but the majority of them help you out with the castle (Shops, Bathing house, farm, restaurant) and a whole bunch are great in battle.

Yes. Above I said bathing house, fam and restaurant. Suikoden 2 has SO MANY mini-games and secrets. A lot of replay value here...

You can fight in battles... So it also has SRPG elements.

It has a GREAT soundtrack - I advise you don't read the comments sections. Click Here and Click Here for 2 tracks. Hell. Have One More.

The game has multiple links to the original Suikoden game, including a save transfer that if, and this is a big if, you have a perfect completion of Suiko 1 (all 108 Stars of Destiny), then you get special scenes including characters from the original... And even get the original Hero in your party for Suiko 2.

It has a very, very, very evil bad guy -

Luca Blight kills thousands of people. Just for fun. Says he will give someone mercy if they act like a pig... Then kills them anyway. He takes a whole bunch of arrows. Then takes on 3 highly trained groups of your characters... Then gets shot by a whole bunch of arrows again... And then nearly kills your Hero in 1 on 1 combat. Even after that he's laughing at you even while he dies...

The game still costs over $300 Brand New...

I'd say Haze.  This game got ripped apart by review sites for mainly its graphics, probably due to being one of the earliest hyped PS3 exclusives.  And while the game doesn't exactly deliver graphically (though its far from the worst looking game I've seen this gen), it's some of the best fun I've had with a FPS.

Folklore and Valkyria Chronicles are both incredible games that deserves much more. Especially Folklore is very underrated and overlooked.

Mirror's Edge... *sigh* Where's the damn sequel!?

While Epic Mickey is quite successful it still deserves more. I suggest Wii gamers takes some time off from d0ming everything and it's grandma and instead check this game out.

I'll second this.  I didn't think of it because it was from last gen, but it is a really fun game.  I loved the way you could control your squad in this game.  It was very easy to give individual orders, or just sent the whole group to a location.  Why there are not more games like this I will never know.
