Hmmm... at £130 I might have to pick one up for September when I move into a house with some friends. Although the console isn't, let's just say, as software-thick as the others, there are still a few titles that I'd like to try, and £130 seems to be a price that warrants that (SMG 1&2, MKWii, NSMBWii, OkamiWii, Epic Mickey... as well as all the party shit for the housemates and some old Gamecube classics that I never got to play)

Hopefully this means that the PS3 price is coming down, soon... as I need to buy a replacement for my YLoD model.

Should definitely boost sales, done a little late IMO, but not TOO late.

I can see 250k WW weeks after this, firmly putting Nintendo up YoY, and ahead of its competitiors, if marketed correctly.

I mean, at £130 with Mario Kart and a Wii Wheel, who wouldn't buy one? even if they only end up getting Monster Hunter, Galaxy, Epic Mickey, Donkey Kong, Goldeneye etc., it'd still be a mighty fine purchase...

Wii should return to #1 in Worldwide sales until a Price Cut for PS3 or 360. In America it should be able to get a big boost...

As I said, Wii should be able to be #1 again...if not worldwide then America but it might not happen due to lack of new games.

I suck at predictions, but I'll try, WW sales only, no region breakdown:

After Wii, XB360 will receive a price cut first and PS3 last. Effects:

1) After Wii cut we could have a testicular pie between Wii and PS3, XB360 outsold by them.

2) After XB360 gets a cut too, a 3-bollocks testicular pie, Wii, PS3 and XB360 selling roughly the same.

3) After PS3 gets the cut too, PS3 first again and alone, followed by a Wii360 testicular pie.
