I don't know about you guys.. But, I didn't like any of the Mortal Kombat games.. Nor Street Fighter... So boring, and dull.. Super Street Fighter IV changed it for me, with Juri, and game mechanics...

I loved Marvel Vs. Capcom and Tekken.. Those games were my fighters... Then, Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 game out... Worse game I never bought... and, I'm glad I didn't buy it..

I could see this MK game was turning out to be awesome, and absolutly knew that dispite how much I didn't like any of the games in the series... I knew it was different....

Both videos are uploaded by myself.. The kitana video is what i found after training with her after a single day.  I had Sub-Zero in the demo, so, yeah, that's how i found that out...  But, the combos are amazing, and... it's not perfect, there are things I hate, but, I love playing this game.. Going to study Sub-Zero and Kitana Ermac and get really good with them.  Game is so awesome..  Yes, it's better than Super Street Fighter IV, and without a doubt better than that MvC3...

But, why are there THREE MK sucks options and no option for people who like both titles...  Juri is like... My 2nd favorite fighting game character... right behind Ruby Heart...  So, I'm only going to say so much about SSFIV.

I've generally liked mortal combat.

I've generally disliked most fighting games particularly street fighter.

Though I do like some Dead or Alive's, and Tekken.

*snif* reminds me of the good old days on the megadrive and snes when Mortal Kombat 1 and Street Fighter 2 Turbo were released... MK vs SFIIT was the talk on my school...

I'm a SF fan and I haven't played the new MK.  I also like boobs.

Now that you know a little about my background:  MK's characters look like their costumes were designed by a 13 year old fan of 1990's Image Comics.  The just don't seem timeless or original.  I watched the video of all of the fatalities, too.  After about a minute, they started feeling redundant.  That just leaves the fighting (looks good) and the differing game modes (look great!).

I'll check it out eventually but, like Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Mortal Kombat is a game that I was hyped for initially but no longer feel is a must buy.

i liked mortal kombat alot more, i have always liked the classic mk and this new mk is what made me love the series so much. 

i favorite fighter this gen though is : sc4   then tekken 6, mortal kombat 9, doa 4 and blaze blue,ssf4

Blazblue was my first real fighting game, so I have good memories of it. SSFIV came later, and just didn't seem as good, but definitely still good. Marvel vs. Capcom 3 ended up having great mechanics, but too little anything else. Right now MK isn't doing much for me . . . I'm having trouble learning the combos after being raised on Blazblue. Soul Calibur has just turned to junk.

LOL Just me expected more from MK9.

I will play more to change my mind.

I personally prefer SF/Capcom fighting series way better than MK and other series.  SF style just had a smoother fighting flow with their move commands and combos.  MK combos just felt choppy.

Honestly the new MK, gameplay is fine, but the story mode is damn ugly!! Sonya Blade looks like a dude with masculine shoulders dont know what Johnny Cage was doing trying to hit on her.  My brother picked up a copy dayone while me and our friend were planning on getting it sometime after but after trying out my brother's copy we decided to pass for good.  Our friend actually fell asleep watching me play lol.

But anyways the MK series just isnt for me but glad others enjoy it.  SF series will always remain the best fighting series as sales prove and is always the main highlight at the EVO tournaments.  I wonder if the new MK will be in the next EVO tournament and how big will it be.

MK9 over SFIV. I hate the new artwork in SFIV and most of the new characters are just boring to me.

EDIT: But overall, the Street Fighter series is better than the Mortal Kombat series will ever be.

Sales dont prove that tekken is the best selling fighting series unless you count wrestling lol. Also MK was made more tournament capable in my opinion so it should be added.
