i believe it has a shot at it aswell but aint routing for it or want it to happen

if next box comes 2014 almost certain

i cant see the wii putting up much next yr and beyond regardless of its price tag

wii2 could also mean it losing its hold in JP and EU

PS3 is behind by 5M in JP it sells around 1.5M there a yr if wii complete stops or puts up low numbers as you say starting next yr than that could also be erased in a matter of 2-3 yrs

and in EU PS3 does about 6-7M a yr and the gap is only 10M

both situations really depend on what the wii does in 2012 and beyond

It will depend on what Microsoft has planned for Kinect.

A 360 pricedrop this year, should bring down that gap to 6 million at least. Next year probably down to 3-4. Still don't see how it wouldn't outsell it, but you can't know until it happens.
