I doubt Sony is ever going to charge for PSN for the PS3. However depending on how the dust settles I do believe we will be seeing charges for internet on the PS4. It is too much revenue for them to just give up on as it can recoup tons of losses.

I'm not even sure they could make it a paid for service, they'd end up being sued for the removal of another advertised product.
