The PSN being down maybe one of the reasons why Socom has done badly. This was definitely not a good thing for socom.

Dying is too strong a word... remember how PS3 sold below the GBA for a time? Look where it is now, it could even reach the PS1 one day. I don't think it will sell as much as the DS, but still it will be huge in time.
