Well I've started my review now, and so far it's looking pretty much as you said in the OP. 1,000 words so far, but I think there's still more to talk about. I haven't even mentioned online yet!

I'll do my best to edit my own reviews if it saves time, if I become a writer, or course. Expect the review in a couple hours time

Well I finished my game I could of started writing but I felt making this sig was a better use of my time...and doesn't help how much stress that game gave me...

Former something....

Wow, as I'm working on this, I looked at the number of words after my first paragraph...and 3500 words, how the hell do you write a review that long?

Question: Do you guys prefer single or double space, or does it not really matter to you?  I still can't get myself to break the double space habit :P

double space is fine, but you can't be serious about your first paragraph being 3500 words.  That's a 4 page or so paragraph, that ain't right.

edit: oh wait, I just got it, yer wondering how someone writes one that long, man I read that your first paragraph was 3500 words.  That would be nuts.

sigh, I'm stupid.  Well I look forward to your submission ^^

don't feel bad, I thought the same thing.  I had to doubletake becuase I was sure he said it was 3500 words.  I can write that in one sitting with ease, but certainly not one paragraph!  imagine 500 word sentences!  it boggles the mind!

:) I was wondering if that would be interpreted like that...oops.  It seems to be coming along very nicely up to now.  I'm actually enjoying this far more than I ever would have expected.  It just seems like I'm living in a fantasy world...writing up a job application by reviewing a video game.

Pretty much what I felt doing it. I really enjoyed expressing my opinion on the game. I used to do it all the time but stopped due to...well, I can't really remember!

But now my 1,750 word review seems too short

I think that's plenty haha.  I'll make sure to make mine 1,751 though :).  I'm actually at almost 1,250 words and I still have quite a ways to go, so we shall see.

Remember boys, a 1500 word review that says all the same things as a 2500 word review is more likely to be read.  While I'm bad for rambling, it's a fine art to say the same thing with less words, and your readers will appreciate it...they got shit to do, they can't be there reading a 5000 word review.

Not saying you shouldn't make sure it covers everything, my review I think ended up at 1900 words, but the point remains:  concise is precise.
