No, aside from 2008 I think the console had a pretty good run.

Let me check nintendo's lineup best smash bros,best mario kart, a sequel to mario world aka NSMBW,the best 3-d mario game which got a sequel, a new donkey kong country. We still have yet to get pikmin and zelda and kirby and we havn't got any motion plus games.  So yeah it served me well

The wii will be remembered as a revolution that all future consoles will be based on. The ps3 and 360 will be remembered as the last systems to use classic controllers well as a standard anyway, unless they let their successors use them als

The wii will be remembered for defeating the dynastic order of Playstation, and SMG 2.

It'll probably be as forgettable as the Xbox 1 and Gamecube, PS1. Much of what it offers was important because it was new and fresh and outside of nostalgia I think once we have new systems out I don't think there will be many people who will even think about the system in 10 years time. However the same applies to all consoles really, what can I say?

As long as it has Brawl, everything else is just bonus IMO

It went from the most amazing phenomenon ever in gaming to the most forgettable console ever.  It's inability to gain 3rd party support and its lackluster technical specs  has shortened its life. There is no doubt it was a success, made Nintendo tons of money, sold numbers ever seen on a console. But in the End it was missing what made the PS2 great, Total support other than the company which made it.

I enjoy more than my N64 and GameCube. But, probably I'm not a gamer because I don't care a lot for third partys on Wii and like the casual shovelware (some like Wii Sports/Resorts), so my opinion is not valid.

In your opinion third party titles are crap in the Wii. But in my opinion Just Dance is more fun than every single HD title a I've already played on my PC. Everyone has its own opinion and most of Wii owners have completely values different from PS360 owners, so this is why is so hard to most of PS360 owners understand why the Wii is by far the best seller console of this gen.

For example, let’s talk about graphics. What are graphics for an ordinary PS360 owner? Resolution, number of polygons, shadows, etc. However for a Wii owner graphics are just beauty. This why an ordinary Wii owner thinks that Mario Galaxy or Kirby's Epic have better graphics than Uncharted or Alan Wake.

Failed? No way..

I probably will only remember the Wii for SMG 1-2  Litle king's story and Kirby Epic Yarn (so far) the only great games for me... for the rest of their franchises Nintendo rather dissapointed me;..Well I knew I would not enjoy Zelda but I am not a zelda fan (except on the gameboy), Was hyped for the new MK...But in the end I played it barely..enjoyed DS Mk more, was extremely hyped for Brawl...but I ended playing it maybe for 30 hours and stopped playing.. was weird considering I probably played Melee for 200 hours but I have a feeling I am not the only one who had the same feeling...And also Nintendo failed in not making games in the franchises I want like Star fox :s.

And I have a feeling that most gamers are not going to remember the wii as the king of this generation..only on Vgchartz it probably will because it sold the most;..
