I have a American PS3 and I'm on Vacations and going to London. I was under the impression that the PS3 didn't have region block, but at a Fnac in Paris I asked and they said that the games worked only in France and when I looked on the back there was a 2 on it. Is this rigth? In England I won't be able to buy games that work on an American PS3 ? How people kept saying they bougth Demon Souls in Korea before it was released on West? Thanks for any answers.

It will work fine, Blurays do contain the 2 region symbol on them but they always have and they have always worked on any region PS3

The only issue comes with DLC, but the games themselves are region free
