Hey, it will be as trustworthy as the articles that those insisting Nintendo will show one have, unless you think just typing "sources" is proof, or naming details that have been lifted from previous rumors about Nintendo, even before the Wiimote was revealed) is proof.

I, for one, don't buy those as proof. It's the same wishful thinking of the "hardcore and feature loaded" Nintendo system they've wanted since 2005 (because it's clear that nothing short of a feature and spec bonanza will win companies like Epic).

One could argue the 3DS is proof this is more likely now, but even that system only went so far, and what these rumors ar discussing is a system that would likely cost $400 or more. Nintendo knows they cannot go that far with their system.

So let's start another rumor, that Nintendo is waiting and seeing for their next home system, and will instead show a flood of Motion Plus games so that they can show the system can still do better games than Kinect and Move (better for the mainstream, not Metacritic).

My "creditable sources"  are saying they are making a game where they kill Mario off and luigi commits suicide to prove they are after this "hardcore" market. It will have a very mature story line and 8hours of cutscenes. During the unvieling of this game we have all waited our whole life for Iwata will have a shirt of Peach and daisy kissing to help show Nintendos new mature direction. I should add Yoshi will be standing near them looking at us with a video camera sunglasses down low on his nose and winking. This will give us hints at what to expect form the new Yoshi game.

agreed. There will be no wii 2 or nintendo 6 whatever you want to call it, I believe we will see more motion plus games this E3. Also I would hate wii 2 to be released without any good motion based games

Jusr for curiosity What Motion games can give Nintendo momentum and sales??? If people think that Wii relax can sell gangbusters it's better to set the computer to "disappointment"

I think they will show something, 60% chance. Just pure speculation. 

What is wrong with speculation and rumors? They happen all the time and some turn out to be true and some don't. At least they give us something to talk about there hasn't been much lately.

How is it more believeable? If you've seen how old a lot of these supposed features have been rumored for Nintendo systems, you would know how stupid they are even now.

And they could always announce and release motion plus games while Wii 2 is out. I don't believe Wii 2 would be like the rumors though. Plus the Wii 2 will probably be backward compatible.

And I do think the best thing Nintendo should do now is release a new console because the technology to make a system with better graphics and memory than a PS3 should not cost more than 400$. This will give them a great head start if Microsoft and Sony decide to continue their 10 year life cycle objective (which I highly doubt will work without them making another console at the same time). The system would probably have to cost 350$ or more to make the 3DS price reasononable though....
