Can it not be that not everyone looks at screenshots the same way?

Damnit carl, I can't tell if you are being sarcastic or not.

I'm being serious.

It's mainly down to the texture work. The game looks much, much better IMO.

What is going on, you are being positive, and the other guy is being negative.

Can you point me to any post in my history that's negative about anything LoZ... That isn't Link's Crossbow Training?

No.

So you're saying there's no such thing as subjectivity when it comes down to visual stimuli? Each person's visual cortex is exactly identical?

That a fact? Because the differences punched me in my frontal lobe. Your denial of these differences - the degree of your wrongness - is only exacerbated by this backpedaling defense of the same

Opinion really, not everyone will notice a difference, I've seen people on other sites claiming there's little to none.

No, it's not. Graphical differences are quantitative and objective when it's not down to art style. Polygon counts and texture resolution are not a matter of opinion, they're a matter of fact.

I'm not concerned with people who are wrong on other website, I'm concerned with people who are wrong right here, right now.

It does look better, but after Twilight Princess I would hope to expect more.  Especially considering what Capcom's doing with the hardware.  Like the game looks inbetween n64 and Dreamcast, but I bought my 3DS for this and Imma get it no matter what.

I am saying that anyone who says that there is little or no change when it comes to character models, texture resolution, and general geometrical complexity are quantitatively and objectively wrong.

In this case, there's nothing subjective about it. Subjectivity only applies to the importance you place on those differences or the effect they have on you; that they are there is not a matter that is up for debate.

I think you confuse two things here. The images have a certain amount of differences. These differences are factual and not up for debate. However, not every person is able to spot those differences as easily. People who are more perceptive about things like polygon count and texture resolution should be able to spot these differences more easily than those looking more casually at screenshots.

If I would show these comparisons to my mother, she wouldn't see the difference, save for a few things like brighter colors and longer ears.

The perception of these is not the point, it's the factual assertion that the images look  "essentially the same", w hich is objectively untrue.

man i just buyed me a N64...will definatly buy this gem at some time...
