I haven't actually bought any games on any platform yet this year (outside of a couple of iPod Touch games). But even then I'm only holding off buying two games on all platforms...

apple is winning!!   lulz at those who adamantly claim apple isn't a competitor.

The total value of my purchases on my iPod is yet to even reach the price of a NES game on the Wii's Virtual Console, and they won't be getting much more out of me.

A lot of people said 'no', but they haven't commented...

Anyway, I said 4, but it's actually more:

-Fragile Dreams
-COD:Black Ops
-Hydroventure
-Cave Story
-Pokemon Black And White

And I still need to get into DKCR, K:EY, Epic Mickey...who needs new software when there's so many classics to buy?

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Just one:

NPC Pikmin 2

My empty wallet and addiction to Minecraft, Europa Universalis and Mount & Blade are to blame for it though...

I'm planning to get DKCR and Sonic Colours Wii later this week.

Haven't bought any game since last month and what's worse, I can't work for nearly 2 weeks due to physical problems. So no games for another month or 2. x_x

Planned to get TVC, Brawl and Guilty Gear Accent Core, but it's so bloody difficult to hunt those (minus Brawl) games down!

Only Red Steel 2 and Donkey Kong Country Returns so far.

But I'm buying till the end of the year Rune Factory Frontier (if I can find it), Monster Hunter Tri and Skyward Sword.

generally only buy games right after the holidays, gift cards and whatnot. Im pretty backlogged on games still, Black Ops, SMG 1 and 2, MSBWii, Super Smash Bros, MH3, FF, Fragile to name a few.... Sucks when you have to prioritize your purchases.

Wii: Super Mario Bros. 25th Anniversary Collection

DS: Pokemon Black, Okamiden

3DS: Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition

Might and Magic, Infinite Space and Pokemon Black on DS, Sin and Punishment on Wii. I got Vanquish on my 360, but I haven't had much time/money for videogames in general between directing/acting in amateur dramatics and small films and doing the last few months of my degree. I'm picking up No More Heroes 2 and Kirby's Epic Yarn at some point.

How does Rune Factory compare between the Wii and DS versions?

Frontier is the longest and hardest one by far. Its dungeons are all much bigger than their DS counterparts, enemies hit harder, healing is less effective, etc. On the flipside, the last two DS games generally have more emphasis on the town and character portions of the game, with far more features offered in that area. I prefer the Wii version, but I can see why others would like the DS ones better, since they are fairly different.
