3DS has a decent stuff, before e3. Here is my view on wii: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=4002547 and DS is having good stuff after the 3DS.

The reason that Nintendo doesn't bring out as many games as Sony is because they don't have as many studios. To add to that, all of Nintendo's 1st Party studios excluding Retro, HAL, and EAD3 are officially working on 3DS games. Sony has like 14 internal studios, and several second party affiliates. Of the 14 games Sony has planned, for release this year on PS3, 8 of them were developed by outside studios and not by SCE WWS. They are all working on both the NGP and PS3. When you combine the force of the 3DS, coupled with Sony's massive Worldwide Studios group and external partners, Nintendo can't produce as many games as Sony in the same timeframe. This is why Sony puts more games out faster. |
You saw the comment. Nintendo has 7 studios they are just letting do nothing. After all, them not announcing what they are doing can only mean they are just sitting on their thumbs.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Lets take Sony out of the equation for a 2nd and stick to NInty, what have they been doing really?? In terms of software. "but there working on 3DS" fine, so where are the great Ninty games at 3DS' launch???? Pilotwings and Nintendogs arent exactly games that are pushing there dev studios. Mario Sports Mix was made by Square, just found out the OoT 3DS isnt even freaking being developed by NInty, so WTF have they been doing?? im not dooming them, there gonna have an excellent E3, they have too, but im calling it now of the 3 consoles out, the Wii wont be number 1 in terms of releases

Not to mention Retro, Project Sora, HAL, etc. are all officially working on somthing. Just because Nintendo hasn't announced what a particular team is working on doesn't necessarily mean they aren't doing anything. See Project Sora as an example. They were formed after SSBB launched, and we didn't find out what they were working on until E3 last year.

@mr. khan goddamit!!! There are still franchises that havent even shown up on Wii, where is Star Fox, F-zero, MarioGolf and or Tennis, and people have the gall to say they dont want to oversaturate??? BS excuse, there E3 is going to be great

Well when I wrote about saturation, I meant in terms of quality being thinned out. This was just in case you included me in that comment.

3DS just launched, and it had good games laready, and a really strong launch window.
DS..... it's succesor just arrived, and it actually had a pretty good Q1 (Pokemon, Okami...)
