I've always wondered this.

Which of the pair do you own (or even if you own both)?

How many friends do you have in each list?

How many of them would you say you spoke to on a regular basis. (i.e within every 3 days.)

I'm asking because although I have about 40 people on my psn list, I rarely speak to anyone on it, sure there are a couple of people on there who I know in real life therefore speak to them outside of psn more frequently but everyone else...just curious what the story is for everyone else.

I have one real life friend on the list and 20-30 forum friends with whom we sometimes play some multiplayer or boost some trophies :)

If I walk with my female avatar in Home I get around 5 friend invitations;..

Overal 40 friends on PSN and 80 on X360.

Everye 3 days?  That is a lot...  Once a month 10 friends I guess..

I dont even talk to my real life friends over live. I dont like the sounds of mics too fuzzy, to many un even voices. I like using kinect for voice, but it only works with 1 person signed in and I usually have atleast 1 buddy over when i'm on live.

Well I have 74 friends on XBL and 21 being people I actually know in real life(I don't talk to all of them regularly). Then 7 or so people I met on XBL that I talk to regularly. Out of the 74 friends I have I talk to maybe 22 of them regulary online.

since not playing WAW or MW2 anymore i dont talk to many of my people on my friends list, except for an few that i know in real life and one i play co-op with. 

I have  more than 50 friends on PSN with 15 I know on a day-to-day basis, have 14 on XBL with 13 people I know on a day-day basis

most of my PSN invites have some from playing Uncharted 2(got alot of people from this), posting my information on gametrailers, and littlebigplanet(always a friendly community)

most of my PSN buddies are quite active only a few which are mostly my real friends aren't so active because they're away and in college,,,though one is in jail.....

as for 360 they are always on and don't leave me alone!!!lol

I own all three, I have friends a I speak to on a normal basis on my Wii and PS3, when someone wants to get my attention they send a Wii message since it lights up when I get a message, I'll get on PSN if we want to chat though and send HD pictures, otherwise the Wii takes care of that too...

The other people I message on either or system are generally people that only have that system.

My 360 are mostly VGC friends and I haven't logged in for probably a year now lol
