How does Sonic And The Secret Rings (2.41), Call Of Duty 3 (2.08) and Lego Batman (2.11) sound?

Also, soon we'll have Resident Evil 4 (1.91), Monster Hunter Tri (1.84), Epic Mickey (1.89), Goldeneye (1.22), Sonic Unleashed (1.77), World At War (1.58) and maybe a few others as well...

Also, for the PS3, GTA IV has sold ver 7mil

On the 360, GTA IV again has sold over 7 mil

Only 1 other game is above 5 mil for both consoles...

 

So a 3rd Party game which sells over 7mil on ANY platform is a feat!

See just by setting  the bar artifically high i cut down half of your list ;)

If you only required 400k of sales to make a profit as opposed to 3 mil like a lot of the big budget PS360 games, I'd be happy with 2mil of sales...

Also, games like Resi4 cost next to nothing to make, and Monster Hunter Tri has made MUCH more than the vast majority of PS360 games due to subscription charges in Japan. $10 a month in Japan, average of 3 months per person makes $30, 1.1mil sales makes... $33,000,000 in free cash for Capcom? That's BEFORE we count actual sales. So I think these devs will be happy

What about Halo Reach being bundled like hell? That and a price cut at 39.99$ and the sales directly appear less impressive. But you won't see that this way for obvious reasons. You say people try to downplay Halo Reach sales, but it's often an answer to people like you making them appear what they're not. If the game had those sales with full price and without bundle then yea, that'd be freaking impressive, ftb it's not, or at least no the way you think it is.

Hate to break it to you but Halo Reach has no bundles nor has it had any in the past.

shops in UK had halo reach included with 360`s it used to be official ones, but many shops offer halo reach with it ie internal bundles

De Blob 2 flopped because the first game was rubbish and people weren't interested in a second game. It had no advertising and the original didn't even reach 1 Million on the Wii.

Just Dance - 5.68 Million
Just Dance 2 - 6.91 Million (And still going... A lot)
Just Dance Kids - 720k

Yeah. Just Dance is in a completely different league than De Blob. Stupid to make the comparison. The game would likely sell well on every plaform.

You meam almost all Call of Duty games? That's more than 1 other game.

Call of Duty: Black Ops (less than 5 months)
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (just 360)

And of course...

Grand Theft Auto IV
