They didn't do that with the GC because it was a fucking failure dude, Wii is a success so I think it would be stupid to stop its production when the new console comes out. They do that with the handhelds because their handhelds have always been a success. And sorry I meant 2013, because I really don't see the Wii getting from 17m right now to 4m in just 3 years or a bit more. I could be wrong, but if it really happens then something went wrong...

Ahh but based on one guys idea, he says Nintendo don't sell a dead horse, Wii sold 18.3M in 2010, I expected roughly 4M drop in 2011 but it looks like it's heading to a 5M, if a price cut and good software comes out in 2012, the drop could be smaller in that year.
