ok, between last gen and this gen, some games have been so abstract they could be considered art.  what games do you consider to fall in this category?  can be from any gen, but i really cant think of any that are art before last gen. two games that i put into this category are shadow of the colossus and heavy rain.

I believe any game that can have a large emotional impact really is art. It's a shame really, because this gen has seen a lack games in this catagory for me.

It's not abstract, but a 1000 times Persona 3 FES. The atmosphere in that game can't ever be redone.

I dont consider any games art. I consider them games. Now there is art in games, but the games themselves are not art.
