don't forget Monster Hunter Portable 3rd the best ver. is not out yet, i believe that it will came out together with the download ver. and then we will see another boost sales of it...

It's not as convincing when you defend Nintendo Carl.

Also it looks like MH is more popular on handhelds but not on consoles. Though the difference is that DQ has the same fanbase for main series titles, handheld or not, while not everyone who buys MHP buys the console versions.

Also, to add to this, the sales for the last 3 major DQ games seems to show a standard fanbase of about 3.5 million in Japan.  With extra sales coming from advertising.  And even for remakes, DQ remakes make about 1.5 million each.  Usually remakes only make at best 1/4 the amount the original title does, but DQ and Pokemon are the exception.

It is the gen it seems. (MH) Be intersting to see how it does the next few gens, or if just slowly fades away.DQ has been around forever. Its hard to judge a franchise against one that hasnt been out near as long as another. Ok now back to my bias DQ FOR LIFE!

And "they" would be right btw, every single multiplatform game sells better on PS3 when compared to Wii or 360. That's a fact, the numbers don't lie.

I didn't even say HD consoles, I said PS3 only, and please enlighten me. NMH is the only example I can think of and that was a late port of a game that heavily utilized motion controls on the Wii. So go ahead, enlighten me. Please keep in mind that this is for Japan only.

Im sure theres more but is there even that many games that are the same between them? There is very few times where 100% always, never, is true.
