You keep sayng that cause of all the 360 rrod with out any info to back that up. Just cause it rrod does not mean it is not in use. Most would of been fixed through warranty. Others fixed by people who dont feel like sending it in (ie me, i have fixed 4 my self) or sold on ebay for others to fix.
Fact is you have no hard concrete numbers for either system on how many may not be in use for any number of reasons.
The original source is also a joke if I rember correctly that also had no actual facts to back up its claim.
That being said, the only active userbase I would even consider partially accurate is one that comes from the big 3 about their own platform backed up by the stats of how many are conected to the internet. Even that i know would be wrong though as so many may not be conected to the internet.
