Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.

Number one is such a shame...

All these games (except Wii Play) somehow deserves that spot.

But let's be honest here, we all know WoW trumps all of them.

3, 6 and 8... Shame

You really do like pushing limits don't you.

I think everything is good. Well, Wii Play is the only one, which shouldn't be up. Also take that best selling game on mobile phone, you don't even have significant amount on the top 10, and this is just USA.

So Angry Birds makes $70 million world wide and pundits are talking about how social gaming is going to kill off console games?

Not according to this list it isn't.

Limit? What limit?

I'm allowed to be upset with some games that I think don't deserve to be on the list. Or is VGChartz now becoming a place where you can't express a negative opinion against popular stuff?

I'm pretty sure nobody would complain and cry about it if I said the same thing about CoD. Why would there be double standards?

It cost $140k to make, so that is one hell of a profit margin.

Certainly it's a massive profit margin but it's also 1 hit out of thousands and thousands of misses.  Even the rest of Rovio's own line up is wrought with failures.   Hell, Angry Birds itself is actually a rip off of Crush The Castle.

But anyone that thinks $140k to $70 million profit margins will become common is setting themselves up for another marklet bubble that will burst - badly.  Especially for those that are banking on it killing off home consoles (and I've read several articles in the past few weeks make that very proclamation).

WOW, you bash the only 3 games there that was remotely innovative and not "insert brand name here" yearly edition. Ok number 8 i guess i could agree on, but most number 8 buyers are probably new buyers.

Looking at the list again, your comment pretty much sums up why the video game industry is about to have its 2nd crash.
