Wow if Gears 3 keeps this up, nevermind 7 million, it may break 10! However keep in mind, Halo: Reach's release date was only just announced at this time, and it's beta was less hyped and not dated. Then again ODST did have Reach Beta promo codes..

I don't think Gears will be as big as Reach, but this will be the biggest Gears to date, and I think Reach will be sub-Halo 3. So these two franchises will be closer in sales then ever before (ODST and Wars are not mainstream Halo games, just like Exile is probably not a mainstream Gears title)/

Also, still no 3DS games! WOW Next week, surely there will be a 3DS game, as 5 games are leaving the Pre-Orders this week. I hope Forza 4 and Duke Nukem enter the list soon too.

It's gonna be a long time before forza enters.... Your right about Duke nukem though!

Well I hope Forza enters the list fairly soon. The franchise has been steadily growing (Forza 1 - 1 million, Forza 2 - 2 million unbundled, Forza 3 - 4 million unbundled), and with GT5 gone past, and quality on par with Forza 3, Forza 4 has a bigger name then any other prior Forza. Ontop of the Kinect capabilities will likely bring it in the list earlier then Forza 3 did.

Still your right, not much hype buzing Forza right now, but by E3 it should be on the list.

Duke Nukem will probably pace behind Crysis 2 which came on the list 5 weeks before launch.

Just realized Max Payne 3 is an August title, hope it makes it on the list soon too.

It's a PSP game in 2011.  I mean, when only one PSP title actually sold over 200k all of last year in the US, are you really surprised it didn't chart?

 

Type-0 is going to be an epic bomb outside Japan.  Hopefully there's a 3DS and/or iOS version so some westerners actually buy it.

But Crysis 2 may have to depend on word of mouth (if it's strong), because it may not outsell Homefront week 1. I think this was either a bad time to launch, the lack of marketing hurt it, or it's not something people care for.

It's ovvertracking Reach by a mile! There is no way Uncharted will be bigger than this! Oh and btw the Reach sales at around the same period of time.

I am talking about how gears is overtracking Reach in preorder charts.

didn't notice, but that is big all things considerd. GEARS may not be bigger but IMO its better then HALO.

Before bundles, Forza 3 was already at 3.3 million. Post bundles it's sold around 200k. Do you honestly think the game could not have sold 500k in the period between september and december 2010 with the ultimate edition being released? Also, even if it only sold 300k unbundled, do you not think it won't sell another 200k by fall? It's holding about 15k a week.

yeah I kinda am, if my memory serves me right, the first dissidia charted, last year both God of war: ghost of Sparta and KH:BBS charted...I wasn't expecting it to be on the top but I atleast wanted to see it somewhere on the chart.
