Forums - Gaming - Oddities in gaming

This is a thread to discuss and try to solve odd mysteries that appear in gaming that make no sense.

For example, in the Legend of Zelda series, why do all of the puzzles seem so conveinent to Link?

By that I mean how the heck do no hookshot targets appear requiring one until he conveinently gets one in the X temple?

Why isn't Ganondorf smart enough to see this and require puzzles to need an item he can't obtain until solving another puzzle that has an item he can't obtain? You would think Ganondorf would catch on......

This pretty much sums some of the oddities in lots of games:

Above: still the best game of the year.

because if they made the game not obvious enough, more people wouldn't beat it because they are too dumb.

As well as the puzzles would take a lot more work by the developer

fun games not need backstories to why fun stuff happens. Only boring games do that.

Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong

I don't believe Ganon created the temples did he? otherwise he'd have put all the bosses in one big room to stamp link when he still had 3 hearts :p

they are meant as a test to the heroe of the triforce, and thus purposefully doable.

How a pile of garbage or some stacked chairs can block a full grown man or superhuman from reaching a certain space.  I mean, a three year could crawl through some of the blockades that developers put up to block the path.  Dragon Age:  Origins had some of the worst I've seen.

Why doesn't Princess Peach hire a bodygaurd?

Why the hell is the beginning of Mario Galaxy 1 ans 2 exactly the same?

Why isn't there constantly a warrant out for your arrest in GTA?

Why are there no children in GTA? (I know why but it kinda destroys the logic of the world)

Why the hell are ther so many locked doors in every game?

Please Watch/Share this video so it gets shown in Hollywood.

Also, in any JRPG or WRPG, why won't the main villain kill the heroes before they level up.  What logic is there in letting the characters get stronger before facing them?  If I want someone dead I don't want it to be a fair fight.

Why do people get better when shot after some time in FPS?

What are baddies doing whilst waiting for you to arrive?
