That team is too busy with Versus, where not seeing KH3 anytime soon

no in this case.... KH is continum series, everything is conneceted by story... only Sony and Nintendo have experienced the story... its not like FF13 where every FF is a fresh start or SO where its prequel and your not required to know anything... I cant imagine this game ending up on 360

most likely Xxclucive to Sony or Nintendo machine.. or possibly a multi between the 2 next gen.

just because the storys are connected doesnt mean square wont multi-platform the game to 360 i mean it started on ps2 and the series went to nintendo handhelds for different games i dont see why they woulnt if they felt they should.

It won't be out anytime soon. Just wait for the inevitable KH1, KH: COM, and KH2 HD bundle for the PS3. I'm sure it will be announced soon.

They aren't "milking" the series. 358/2 Days was a great game that showed so much of the backstory we had been missing. Birth By Sleep was just as good as the numbered games and served as an outstanding prequel. I haven't picked up Re:Coded yet, but i'm sure it will be worth playing, just like Dream Drop Distance.

They just want to flesh out the story as much as possible before this saga comes to a close in KH3. And Square hasn't had the greatest track record this generation, so I'm all for them taking their time.

why is this in the 360 section? the console thats has absolute zero affiliation with the series


I remember reading somewhere that KH3 will not be the last of the main storyline. Final Fantasy Versus XIII is the only reason why KH3 is not even announced yet. The team developing Versus is the same team that does the main KH games. Square Enix wants to make their best team mke KH3 and so we'll have to wait until Verus is finished so they can do KH3. I just hope that they don't take nearly as long on KH3 as final fantasy versus. Versus is going to reach at least a total of six years to develop. If they continue at that pace, then KH3 might not come out until 2017 or something. I really hope we don't have to wait that long. It has already been long since KH2.

Yea, for example: Mass Effect 2 going to PS3 when it started on 360/PC

i dont believe that kingdom hearts will only stay on sony or nintendo look at final fantasy it was nintendo then went to sony no one thought final fantasy 3 and 3-2 would be on or going to microsoft , look at the exclusives square gave microsoft  in the past , i do believe when it annouced it will be on microsoft console

well I won't rule a KH games coming to the 360, the posibility of KH3 coming to the 360 are slim to none(imo) the 360 hasn't gotten one KH game and I don't see how KH3 would fit in unless it's a completely new story with little or no backround to it's previous titles.

as for KH3 in general, it will take some time before we get it, we probably won't get FFXIIIVS by late-mid 2012 at the earliest, now and in another 2-3 years of development(again at the earliest) we won't see KH3 by 2015, hell probably won't get it until the next gen of consoles.(imo)
