They aren't "milking" the series. 358/2 Days was a great game that showed so much of the backstory we had been missing. Birth By Sleep was just as good as the numbered games and served as an outstanding prequel. I haven't picked up Re:Coded yet, but i'm sure it will be worth playing, just like Dream Drop Distance.
They just want to flesh out the story as much as possible before this saga comes to a close in KH3. And Square hasn't had the greatest track record this generation, so I'm all for them taking their time.
