3DS = A Pokémon or Shining Force game. Or a trophy/achievement system. I just love hunting those silly awards.
PSP2/NGP = Already getting one first day.

3DS
A less PS2-like library. Its current library really reminds me of the PS2, and to me that's a bad thing becasue the PS2 never caught my attention.
Ocarina of Time and Lylatwars 3D seem fun, but I won't buy a system for just N64 remakes. So... maybe something like a fully 3D pokemon might convince me to buy the thing. Or something completely new, and I don't mean steel diver, that game looks lame.
NGP.
An amazing game I haven't heard of. A game so truly amazing and fun to play that I must have it no matter what. "good" or "great" won't cut it. A super killer app.
I LOVE ICELAND!

NGP :
- Good launch lineup
- Good price point
- Some form of PSN compatibility
- Second analog stick
- Good amount of battery life
It has one of the five so far.
Who's the best Pac, Nas, and Big. Just leave it to that.

Basically what you said, I got my 3DS paid for so I don't have to deal with issues getting one like I had with my Wii >_>
NGP doesn't have anything as of yet that interests me enough to buy it aside from Little Big Planet and I have that on PSP so I want to know what all the NGP LBP will do (create modes). Also with NGP they need to tell me the price point, an exact battery life, and they need to show games that flesh out these ideas they bring to the table, basically whats the advantage of the back panel, and get me some non outsourced teams on these games.
If NGP is too expensive and LBP doesn't do much the bigger brother doesn't already do then I'll do like I did with the PSP and wait till I can get it at a reasonable price and buy the games on the cheap.
I find it quite humorous the people taking company sides on this... it's about the games people... how does this device fill your gaming needs... not what some company tells you is the future or whatnot... Example me, Nintendo makes games that fills my needs in gaming, they know how to design a game that you sit down and play for an entire evening and they know how to make pick up and play games that I can get a stopping point in no time and just go do something else, this is why I buy their consoles within the first year, I know there will be something for me to play and the hardware has always been reliable, all of these are my needs.
On the other hand Sony with the PS1 and PS2 have had DRE issues and the PSP is far more fragile than any Nintendo/Sega handheld so I'm iffy when I buy one even though I take care of my products, plus Sony doesn't always fill my gaming needs I find myself with dry spells cause an Ape Escape and a Little Big Planet only comes once in a while.

Ill get a 3DS for megaman- when I'm not broke
Ill get a NGP for wipeout, uncharted and HOPEFULLY MHP4- when I'm not broke
Time for hype

There would need to be a MH4 first, which for right now could mean any hopes of a MHP4 is still 1 and a half to 2 years away.
Though I must admit Wipeout might be a big more fun this time around vs the PSP version with the better sticks.

3DS: have games that are great to play with
Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong
