Oh boy, I completely blow through the recommended specs.  Also what do you mean no nude women cards? It was like pokemon in the first game! Gotta catch them all and all tat jazz....

Can't wait to play this beastly game. Definitely one of my anticipated games of the year.

I'm playing the Witcher now, I'm still outside Vizima, but I'm loving it already. Combat reminds me a bit of Jade Empire (too repetitive), but hopefully it will improve with more signs and talents.

Good, because the cardsd were a gmae in of themselves. I felt they added another separation between this game and the others,

The swordplay will honeslty be the same, just click at the correct time to do your thing so don't expect more there. The signs however are indeed cool and you can have some nicely thought out kills with them, however I found that slower than to just click your way through with your sword. Then again I didn't explore that option as much so maybe signs can mass murder even faster.

I'm pretty sure I read in multiple previews that they discarded the cards but added a more of a scene when they get buck wild.

Well that's a let down. I don't need softcore in my game, I prefer the cards because they were A) a nice collectible game within the game and B) nicely hand drawn. Adding a scene remove both of those benefits.

I wonder if we will find out about Alvin/the final boss in the 2nd game.

*hoping for a console port* will still buy if it has terrible frame rate.

Aparently they are now saying they will think about the console versions after the Witcher 2 ships, but they do have the engine up and running on consoles and say they can get a similar level of graphics as the PC version. Thos they are aparently thinking of maybe porting the first game to consoles using their new engine... If they do I hope they release a PC version, I would probably play through the first game with a new coat of paint and less loading lol
