Stopped reading there.

*high fives*

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

Sounds like a joke thread without the joke.

"We believe that Microsoft is in the driver's seat on pricing, and believe that the company may consider a price cut for the core console plus Kinect to under $300 in June,

Does "core" mean the 250GB version here?

250GB plus Kinect bundle = $300 instead of $400 today?

Why does Pachter always support Microsoft and bashes on Nintendo? just a question

I trust no one, not even myself.

I think that a price for everyone will happen, just don`t know if they will be all at the same time.
MS and Sony already have a great summer/fall line up with such titles as COD, Gears of War 3, Rage, Last Guardian, BF 3, Resistance 3, Uncharted 3 and so on. A price cut during the summer will be enforced with great titles leading up to Christmas, thus keeping interest on the consoles.

Nintendo is the one that i have a trouble pinpointing the date of a price cut. The only big titles seem to be Kirby and Zelda. Will Nintendo just cut the price without giving people a new (real) reason to purchase Wii? That doesn`t seem to be a good choice. Will they reveal something that would complement the price cut during summer time? Will they wait for Zelda and cut the price around that time?

it must do as u can already get the 4gb kinect for $300

Microsoft may cut the price, Sony may cut the price, but why?

There are already so many choices for sku/ bundle shuffling.

If sony wants to sell Move more then they will "price cut" the current $399 Move/Sports Champions bundle down to $300.

That is the most I see them doing this year *IF the sales keep up.

Microsoft... i cant keep track well enough to coment. SOO many different things

Old 360, then pricecut

Slim, old phaseout

Kinect Intro

Slim Kinect bundle, Slim only model

4 gig, 250 gig.

Different Kinect bundle

what costs what now?... whew im dizzy.

Microsoft used to have a $200 core system around a while ago, do they still? Pricecuts are masked nowadays by always shuffling the bundles around to increase sales without ever really cutting the price. This is a Microsoft tactic which does work, and it is something that Sony has begun to do as well.

What I am interested to see (assuming Sony drops the move bundle to $300) is what if anything will justify paying more than $300 for a PS3?

PS3, Move, Killzone, and Sharpshooter bundle; $350?

PS3, GT5, Wheel bundle; $400?
