3 things.
1. Launched next to Killzone 3
2. Gears 3 beta
3. Every advertisment u see shows the 360 only.
So it has to be asked, should Bulletstorm have been a 360 exclusive? | |||

Not sure if trolling :p,
I thought it was well known that game such as Bulletstorm would go against the usual games that are seen on the Wii. Violence, profanity, sexual references, plenty of guns etc etc. Whip feature would have been cool though.
Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.

It shouldn't of been a 360 exclusive, EPIC obviously want there games to be multiplat. They just chose to release it at the wrong time for PS3, it was never going to beat killzone 3 sales. It would of been the same for 360 if they chose to release it at the same time as a Halo game. EPIC should of been more strategic with there release date, that said though i do think in the end it will sell alot on PS3 not more than 360 but satisfactory for EPIC.
This year i think alot of multiplat games will sell significantly more on 360 because the PS3 has a hell of alot of good exclusives coming this year and PS3 owners will more than likely choose these over multiplats released at the same time.

First off I would wait a few weeks before making a decision about wether Bulletstorm should have been an exclusive...if the PS3 version continues to sell poorly I would say it should have been a 360 exclusive cause if it was then MS would have hyped and marketed it up more then it was and that would have resulted in more sales for the 360, and their would have been less costs on Epic's side because they wouldn't have had to make the PS3 version.

lol
by the same logic, FFXIII should be PS3 exclusive
does not hurt the company to make it for all consoles as long as it's easy to port. if it can sell 1 million copies on PS3, it sure the hell justify the development cost
Soriku (Feb 10/08): In 5 years the PS3/360 will be dead.

Should it have been a ps3 exclusive if they had launched it last year on the same day as halo reach with killzone 3 beta included on the ps3?

Not troling at all. The Wii can sell these type of games, just look at MadWorld and Mario and Zelda.
