250K for Killzone 3 but only 30K for Bulletstorm (PS3)

that just doesn't make sense.

And 190K for Bulletstorm (X360) compared to 30K Bulletstorm (PS3), that's also highly unrealistic even if the X360 got a Gears 3 demo.

The majoroty of gamers simply aren't that informed that they'd make such informed decisions.

nah I think that's the main reason, without the beta it would have done not as bad but still bad on the 360 as well..

apart from kz3, I think cliffy's non stop bitching has created an anti-ps3 image for him among some imo...I think that to a very lesser intent that would have had an impact on sales as well

Dude, the majority of Bulletstorm and Killzone buyers don't even know who Cliffy B is.

Any crap game sells far more than 30K on the PS3 first week in America. Especially if it's a shooter getting 84% Meta and being published by EA.

not saying majority will know him, but there is a good chunk who will know him. His constant ranting in the past years (especially the past few weeks) made some noise around the net, which will reach core gamers. so to a 'very lesser' extent that image will harm sales too.

again it's the launch of KZ3...doubt many sony owners care about bulletstorm with good exclusives like that. Even without a lot of exclusives, doubt even 360 would have pulled great numbers without the Beta, but then again we will never know.

and btw isn't Bulletstorm marketed for the 360? that should help too

I for one won't be picking up BS until it hits the bargain bin..too much jersey shore meets toilet humor for me, just my 'personal' opinion of the game from what I have seen so far

wasnt that just the epic edition? I doubt that many people bought the epic edition. Killzone 3 was there for PS3, 360 didnt have a combatant and Epic is known to 360, SOLVED
