True but has nothing to do with pride in my race! Enslaved or not I'm happy to be white.

I am happy to be white as well, my reasoning its what I am used to. If you are american you will be a proud one, its what we are, we are happy to be who we are imo

Well, I can't say that I find any logic in being "proud" of having a particular skin colour. The ideea just sounds silly to me.

By saying I'm proud of my own race doesn't mean I don't respect other races or anything like that. If I was Asian I'd be proud to be Asian, if I was black I'd be proud to be black, etc.
