Glad to see a new MARIO Game! You know a game with the character Mario! Where you run, jump, and use items to save a princess from a Dinosaur Turtle. Doesn't that happen in 2D and 3D? I tell ya I would love to see a world with no Mario. Better yet a world where all the Mario games are horrible like Sonic games been. That's a real FUCK U to gamers!

Just because someone is saying something different. Doesn't mean their point of view is right!

It's alright, but I would rather like to get some info on the real Mario game.

Don't worry, its time too shall come. They may even release about six months apart; we'll see.

For all those missing the 2d mario, you can expect it to be on the Wii as an enhanced version of nsmbw ala Super Mario World (upscaled version of Mario bros. 3).

If Nintendo's new strategy is to satisfy the hardcore gamer on the handheld, and the casual gamer on the home console than I am all for it.  I can't see them releasing a 3d mario on the home console anytime soon considering the sales gap between nsmbw and galaxies.

Anyways this looks pretty standard so far for a 3ds mario, but exciting nonetheless.

I'm not so excited. Apparently the 3D Marios are great, but I found SMG to be one of the most overrated games I have ever played. It was such a terrible disappointment that I didn't even try other 3D Marios (SM64, SMG2, tons of 'em on VC). And that's with me sugar coating everything Nintendo-related, :O.

I'm more hopeful for this, though. Since there's stereoscopic 3D, I might not find the game as hard and more playable. I'll give it a shot, at least, even though I'm several million times more excited for New Super Mario World 3DS.

It's a title that tilts me further into buying a 3DS first, any other nex-gen platform later. I love me some good mario ;)

That's one of the main reasons I find this a very smart move on Nintendo's part.  There are many people who are turned off by 3D platformers simply because judging distances can be tricky.  If Nintendo is correct about the stereoscopic aspect somewhat rectifying this problem, it could prove to push the appeal of a 3D Mario further than ever before.

Yeah, I'd love to actually be able to play 3D Mario and it'd be fun if it became the third 20m Mario franchise because it's more accessible to people like me.

So...both Galaxies won/were nominated for multiple Game of the Year awards....but somehow people think a new 3d mario, made by the same team, in 3D....will not be good? Yay logic.

It'll be great, it'll look great, it'll play great, period.

Logic: those same people were not the ones who nominated/voted for those games to win GotY.  Yay for liberation from the hivemind!
