Forums - Nintendo - NEW SKYWARD SWORD TRAILER!!!

Seems to me like we're getting meaningful swordfighting for the first time since fighting Dark Link in OoT, and that a lot of enemies will play based on *how* you fight

Art style is neither here nor there, from the trailer it seems like it'll be one of those styles that work better in certain environments than others, but this game is going to be the king-god of combat

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

How has no one mentioned that the HUD is probably the worst HUD design from a mediocre developer and up in the last 10 years? You'd think the designers were children or something and yes I know it's optional, but that doesn't excuse poor design. I hope I'm making a mistake and that's just a temporary GDC thing. Also, the video itself with it's non Zelda type music and Pixar enemies was kind of unimpressive, but I did like the door puzzle. Maybe my standards are a bit high for Zelda games, especially when the last few have been some of the best games ever made.

The trailer was also blurry and washed out, which hopefully might just be the trailer

I thought it was confirmed to be demo-only.

I don't get the point in complaining if you don't have to turn it on - that would be like me saying Uncharted 2 looks awful if I turn on the next gen filter.

looks really great. combat looks amazing and i personally like the art stlye. i do agree that the HUD on the side kinda sucks, but hopefully we will be able to remove or alter that. the new "villain" looks interesting as well. need more info though.

I thought it looked like something wearing Majora's Mask (I mean, those eyes...), but then ConeGamer said something about Shadow of the Colossus and I got confused, so I'm right there with ya.

People like complaining about optional things... just think of Super Guide.

OT: Looks great, don't like the music though.

It's Super Zelda Galaxy.

The art style, the music, and the fact that individual enemies seem to be puzzles to solve.

Uh, do not want.

What, you didn't like Basil Poledouris's work on Ocarina and Twilight Princess?
