huh DS is less than 5M away from 150M, at this rate it will keep on selling well after 3DS launch, in the region of 120K per week till end of year.  Also I want ioi to make the color of the 3DS bar, dark blue or maybe purple, but it's his choice at the end of the day.

Never dude, it'll stop selling, expect 0 sales next week, it's teh doomzed!!

Was the GB Advance on the front page when the DS was released?

I'm asking a serious question, I wasn't on this site really early like when the GBA was outselling the PS3.

Well I mean, the DS launched three years or so before VGChartz did.

The GBA's never been on the front page though, not to the best of my knowledge - VGChartz kicked off in 2007, so all the console and handhelds were already out and at war.

The start of a new generation is going to set entirely new precedents.

I wonder if we're going to get a whole new section, or if the 3DS will be lumped in with the DS and PSP!

That would skew marketshare comparisons. For the time being, i'll bet it gets a bar to itself, DS and PSP stay on until the NGP also releases, then both disappear, replaced by the next match
