That's kinda scary. Maybe some other blue tooth device is turning the Wii on? I dunno. Anyway, at my house all of my consoles are plugged into a power strip/surge protector. When I'm done playing, I hit the switch and all of my consoles are out for the count. Give that a shot. No need wasting power unless you get a lot of messages from Wii Connect 24.

I have had the same problem. Had an exorcist come and sort it out. No seriously I just have my Wii in the basement now where it can do all its freaky turning itself on shit in peace. Its also plugged out most of the time.

When it happened it freaked me out.
