That's kinda scary. Maybe some other blue tooth device is turning the Wii on? I dunno. Anyway, at my house all of my consoles are plugged into a power strip/surge protector. When I'm done playing, I hit the switch and all of my consoles are out for the count. Give that a shot. No need wasting power unless you get a lot of messages from Wii Connect 24.
