I think its alittle early to be judging Microsoft's performance for 2011. Yes I'm dissapointed that Rare is now a Kinect developer rather then bringing us titles from their established IP's. However it is early in the year and people are judging both Nintendo and now Microsoft.
E3 is still months away and I can't recall when X-11 is if it is happening this year. Its still way to early to make judgements of Microsoft. Wait until after E3 and we know completely what they are releasing. Then you can judge their first party studios!

Send a letter the MS and Major Nelson, telling them to stop hyping "blowout events" with no exclusives. That was why this event was getting so much core attention. They suckered us in and gave us nothing. Now we have to wait until June to see what they really meant to say, if anything at all.

Yah I remember when Rare was teasing us with Kinect Sports. they hid a Banjo thing on the site and I saw it and with tons of others jumped to the conclusion Rare was finally bringing Banjo Threeie. Then the announced comes out of Kinect Sports and my heart just sank.
Microsoft stop teasing things that won't happen (Like the Banjo tease) and actually give us the games instead of getting us all excited then showing us some cliche sports title. Rather then getting everyone exited for these press releases maybe actually show us something.
Its like Microsoft knows we all want the next Banjo, Conker and such... so they tease us with them and then give us entirely different products. Like what their doing with Rare right now, teasing us all saying that theirs a big game coming. But what will it be a hardcore big game targetting the gamers who loved Rare or another Kinect title that will appeal to very few of us.
Its like if Nintendo announced they had a huge game coming and they were going to announce it soon. Its coming from Nintendo EAD Tokyo its going to be big. Then it turns out its WiiPlay2. Sure a few people might like it, but everyone was expecting StarFox or F-Zero or Pikmin3 etc...etc....
What Microsoft is doing is just not nice!
