Currently delving into Joseph Campbell's The Hero with a Thousand Faces. Apparently it was one of the books George Lucas read to help inspire him and teach him the foundations used for Star Wars, and I've been writing a sort of fantasy/sci-fi hybrid novella so I figure I might as well learn from the best. It's actually a pretty interesting read if you're interested in cultures and mythology.

Simply amazing. I was reading it at Uni during a break, and I reached at a part that made me cry, and I didn't know how to stop myself because people were near by.

Anyways, despite it's short length it's so complex, and deep, and it feels like it ecompasses more than what most writers try to do in novels twice as long. One of the best books I've read this year (and ever).

"I don't understand how someone could like Tolstoy and Dostoyevsky, but not like Twilight!!!"

"Last book I read was Brokeback Mountain, I just don't have the patience for them unless it's softcore porn."

(The Voice of a Generation and Seece)

"If you cant stand the sound of your own voice than dont become a singer !!!!!"

An awesome book exploring how many different parts of the world deal with the zombie apocalypse, multiple narratives telling the stories of governments, militaries and civilians that all fit together and subtly reference one another. The book is incredibly detailed and portrays all the different cultures accurately.
Very compelling, interesting and sometimes moving book. Hint: it's less about zombies and more about people.

Didn't like it very much at first, but loved with it by the end.
