It's one of those games that I didn't wait for price drop and bought it within first week's release.

It does make it difficult to jump right into the next rpg after finishing it.

I don't have much of a problem jumping into other RPG's. They're just never as fun in the end.

It's hard for me to decide which I like between Superstar Saga and Bowser's Inside Story. Superstar Saga had so many memorable characters (Cackletta, Fawful, Popple), and some of the best parts of comedy in a game in it's time. Bowser's Inside story feels like an improvement on the gameplay, with the return of some of the better, comedic characters.

Partners in Time sorta felt like the black sheep of the series for me. It was good, but not enough Fawful goodness....

Sounds like I need to play Superstar Saga.

I've only played BIS and SS and this choice is still tough. SS had a bit more sidequesty material and a bit of a funner world in general, but Bowser's Inside Story makes excellent use of Bowser, as both a comedic relief protagonist and as a fighter in battle, armed with hordes of minions. I guess it depends on what you want in a JRPG. I personally think that Bowser's Inside Story was one of the best games of 2009 period, and is currently on par with Pokemon HeartGold, Phatom Hourglass, and The World Ends WIth You as my favorite DS games.

They're all brilliant - BiS is my favourite.

But Fawful is slighly better in Superstar Saga

like if i had a chance to replay a mario and luigi game again i would pick SS but bowser's inside story is better in a lot of way's due to it being on ds

i dont like how in bis you couldnt really explore the world with mario and luigi for most of the game you could only use bowser to explore

but im pretty sure you're going to pick bis though so my comment wont really matter
