About 360 sales,I believe that the new model, plus games like Halo Reach and Fable III have been helping the salesas (maybe as much as Kinet).

Maybe but Kinect Sports is making a good amount of money back as well. I for one, own a wii and have always loved nintendo but MS has or should I say upgraded a few wii fans that I know of.

In what way is the Kinect an "upgrade?" The games look far worse, and I think having a controller is easier, more presice, and more practical than no controller..

Why are some people in such denial?  MS sold 8M Kinects as some said made $400M in just the hardware of the accessories plus how many millions more for the software?  At work alone I know of at least 5 people who bought xbox and Kinect and they were just Wii and non gamers.  Even a hard core gamer bought a kinect after he heard about how much fun it was.  Fact is MS would not have sold to all those casuals without the marketing campaigns.  Even if they drop from this point on, they have already made their money.  Instead of the 3-5M goals, they sold 8 M.  If that is not success then I don't know what is.

Dont know if people caught commentary from Wedbush.

3 out of 5 360 sold in January were Kinect bundles while 1 out of 5 PS3 sold were Move bundles.



Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

We already caught MS in a lie with milo, they are lying about what the kinect can/will do again, or atleast exagurating I have seen tons of tech demos of what move is capable of none of what kinect is and the hacks are using pcs which are far more powerful then 360 so 360 isn't capable of alot of it, so the games aren't going to be delivered as promised, you are going to get shovelware 2.0 not what you have been promised

Many people in this thread seems to be forgetting that Malstrom speaks strictly about Xbox360 sales, so bringing up Kinect sales iw missing the point.

Third parties also promised quality games on the Wii. We all know how that turned out :/

Expect the same on Kinect.

There are so many including myself who cannot wait until the day Malstrom is proven wrong and he is videotaped during one of those "yeah...Shut the eff up" moments where he is presented with data that blows his whole world view apart and he looks lost and dazed for damn near 30 seconds.

I believe that day is coming soon. Either that or Malstrom is going deranged. Judging from the OP, I think the latter is coming sooner, but I still can't wait for the former :)
