Is the Kinect boost to the Xbox 360 an illusion?

I know the tech and I know roughly what is capable of, and in terms of gaming it seems more of a waste then anything, for a yoga game it's the best thing there is but for an actual game, even a casual one it's probably the worst controller there is and frankly I don't think the thing is going to make it anywhere near 20 mil never mind 40 mil 

20 million is a foregone conclusion for this year for kinect and 25 is not out of the question if the games deliver as has been promised.
