Statistical... oh wait!  360 and PS3 both performing well, each with its own clear regional lead.  Strange to see the Wii on the bottom worldwide, even though the HD consoles will need to outperform it better than they are to really have a chance of closing the gap significantly.

Eager to see the SW to see how DS2 and LBP2 are doing.

I actually think 360 can be market leader as well, if the only can kick it up.

My question is why was there such a huge boost for PSPs in Japan? So much that it pushed right above the Wii...

PSP is doing great in Japan. Now we'll see what happens when the 3DS gets released. People should realize by now that the only reason DS sales are down in Japan is because everyone in that country is waiting patiently for the 3DS to be released. I expect they will sell 1 million in Japan alone in the first week if Nintendo makes enough of them,.

The XBox 360 continues to lead the pack with it's strong American sales. Even with Japan and EMEA low 360 sales, the system still takes 1st place this week. Imagine if 360 popularity in Japan increased. Japan is really the only region that's hurting the XBox 360. XBox 360 sales are decent in EMEA compared to the compeition.

2 new Monster Hunter bundles and improved availability.

I guessing Nintendo don't care about the Wii b/c the 3DS will launch soon and they'll be making they're $$$.

I know, Nintendo is really giving Nintendo a run right now lol.  DS sales are pretty much irrelevant, any sales from now on are just gravy.
