interesting 

well gaming is an luxary item, so its not cheap. I understand that it comes at an premium 

so quit complaining if its too expensive. because it isn't. And why does it matter, because you dont need it to live.

Technology is aways expensive a first though. and look at the PS3 having the hoursepower of super computers of around 10 years ago for US$599 launch price. 

and look at games they cost up to US$100 in the early 1990's and NEO-GEO cartrages cost US$200-$250 a pice. then when Games moved to CD that is when the price whent down.
