Joking aside, it reminds me of Left 4 Dead.

well they say the campain is a string of "scripted sand boxes" so not really open world but large enviroments with scripted events you can aproach in any way you want. So in other words much more open than your average FPS but not a true open world game.

Well the game looks good. How it plays is what matters though.
