Forums - Microsoft - Homefront Xbox 360 bundle on the way

This is quite an odd game to have an official bundle for IMO.

Surprised it's not Bulletstorm instead. It is rather odd that they are bundling it, but after all the game itself is based in US and US is MS's largest market, so it sort-of makes sense.

Is Pilotwings Resort going to be the killer app?

(apart from Nintendogs for the kids. "French Bulldog & New Friends". Cool I love Frenchies.)

seems like a very random game to use for a bundle

I've seen more randoom ones...like Madden 2011 PS3 bundle. This game at least has some exclusive 360 content.

I'm surprised MS hasn't jumped all over Crysis 2 with bundles. The game is based in NYC, is supposedly gorgeous (browny points as great graphics tend to impress and make a game easier to sell to the general public), and is an FPS.

Yeah but Crysis 2 is set in the future in an alternative universe where we get spanked by a bunch of aliens, and I don't think there is any exclusive support for Crysis 2 in particular, I think the X360 beta was due to the fact that Crytek is working on Kingdoms so it's like, "We scratch your back, you scratch ours". N.Korea is a current supposed threat to America, games that are based more upon the modern events are the ones that people tend to tag as "Realistic!". I am sure the patriotic call to slaughter the Korean invaders will call a thousand or two to pick up the Homefront.

COD even managed to destroy the international space station.

What???  I thought Black Ops was set in the '60s?  The ISS has only been up there since 1998.  I haven't played Black Ops, but it sounds like the Soviet rocket is nothing more than its manned Soyuz rocket - similar to the one Gagarin went into orbit on back in '61.

I just had a homemade mac-n-cheese lunch with a side of steamed vegies, and I think I over did it on the mac-n-cheese.  I'm gonna be fighting the sleeps this afternoon.

But to basically stuff his theory up, I think (if this comes to Aus) may be the game that gets me to get a slim, I already bought the transfer cable like 6 months ago haha, I am going to give my current Elite to my Cousin, the new one looks purdier :p

I have high hopes for this game, but I think deep down, it is going to suck hard...

Hey, random bundled game gets random response.  Very invaluable indeed.  Homefront seems rather "out of the blue."

If this game turns out to be as good as the hype I will get it, otherwise...
