Forums - Gaming - SOCOM dev working on new multiplatform game

CVG

Slant Six Games, developer of the Fireteam Bravo, Tactical Strike and Confrontation games in the SOCOM series, is working on a new multiplatform project.

Gamasutra reports that the studio's upcoming game will use Jenkins Software's RakNet 4 networking middleware, which offers multiplatform support for mobile, PC and consoles.

Last November, Slant Six was rumoured to be working on a new team-based Resident Evil game for Capcom. Could this be it?

I thought it was something about Zipper, thanks for getting my hopes up!

Well this is certainly a misleading title

Mario devs working on a multi-platform game, more info to be shown at E3.

......

Goddamit CVG, that's such a disgusting title, going out of your way to trick people into thinking it is a story of any relevance.

Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

The problem is that they are clearly not who people think of when they think of SOCOM
