whatever the scores are or as it continues to change, the game shall deserve to be a great shooter with mindblowing graphics.

Guerrilla Games have proved that there is colour in Helghan — there will be moment where you will just want to stop and admire the scenery, along with the bone chilling armor of those brutal Helghan troops. The lighting also serves great justice to an already breath takingly beautiful game – the way Guerrilla Games used the lighting engine to simulate the bright, harsh glare of the sun gives Helghan that ultimate realistic touch of atmosphere. Furthermore, this can all be enjoyed in mind boggling 3D. However, it is not just the graphics that stand miles above most first person shooters, both on console and PC, available today – the in-game physics engine makes the Killzone 3 experience just that much better – whether you are hurdling over barricades, hurling live grenades, or unloading a clip of shells into an unfortunate Higg, the presence of the physic system is always felt, and most enjoyed when witnessing the lifeless corpse of a Helghan fall so helpless to the ground, from any height. There is even moment in the game where you get to experience this beat of a physics engine in low gravity". |
Good god I can't wait. This is why Killzone is my favorite FPS series.
propa biased reviews imo. look at MW1 2 if there were no load screen the game would be a complete mess, story is told in load screen and in KZ3 its told on the go during gameplay and during cut scenes
i dont know what reviewers want. they wont stop me getting the game, poor poor journalism
if this was on another console they would claim it as the second coming
...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...
PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk
really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

Unlikely. On the other hand, if it's "AAA" to you, Metacritic is meaningless. |
One of the most meaningful gamerelated things I've ever heard on this forum.
May the adjustments be with you

I feel a disturbance in the sales

If it makes you happy:
Metacritic without weighted averages : 87.54.
That's almost 88.
If it reaches "AAA" on gamerankings instead of metacritic you should be happy, and i think it has a good chance of doing so.
Nowadays metacritic hardly matters as it has been proven by Killzone 3 itself; they have weighted averages which can push down or up the scores of a game depending on the reviewer. If IGN and gamespot didn't give this game so low then it would have been much higher on metacritic because I am sure they are considered as important. Killzone 3 is getting astonishing praise from the independent reviewers that nobody usually pays much attention to. Like CGI said, it has more 9 reviews than 8 .
Just noticed the little blurp on metacritic says: Summary: Killzone 3 is a sequel to the squad-based shooter series from SCEA."
SCEE right?
